The answer is 23/24. All of the denominators had to be the same number so I had to simplify 2/3 into a denominator of 24(options number): 2/3x8/8=16/24. Then, I multiplied 1/8x3/3 which is 3/24. Next, I simplified 1/6x4/4 which is 4/24 and I added all of those answers that is 23/24.

(2)/(3) + (1)/(8) + (1)/(6) \\ = (2 * 8)/(24) + (1 * 3)/(24) + (1 * 4)/(24) \\ = (16 + 3 + 4)/(24)

= (23)/(24)
First, we make all the denominator equal, through multiplication of the least common multiple. In this case, the LCM is 24: 3×8, 8×3, and 6×4. Then, we multiply each fraction by its corresponding multiplier. This comes out to be 16, 3, and 4, respectively. Add them up and it totals 23.
