The Law of Sines states that

(ac)/( \sin(b) ) = (ab)/( \sin(c) )
Therefore,

(15)/( \sin(44) ) = (ab)/( \sin(53) )
Multiply both sides by sin(53):

ab = ( \sin(53) * 15 )/( \sin(44) )
AB = 17.25
The answer is D) 17
