When the eyes has a condition of being without a point where the rays do not meet at focal point because of deformation of lens, then astigmatism occur. Other error include myopia where the image comes to focus in front of the retina and if the cones are not properly receiving color, then colorblindness will ensue, which is a case of Hyperopia.
