How do chloroplasts and mitochondria permit a flow of energy?

Answer:
In chloroplast the process of photosynthesis occurs which convert sun light energy into chemical energy in the form of glucose molecule, the end product of photosynthesis. Respiration occurs in mitochondria which convert the energy store in glucose to ATP. This ATP is converted to mechanical energy during physical work.
