A = 1/2 * d1 * d2
A = 1/2 * 12 * 14
A = 84 sq.m

The anser is the 2nd choice, 84sq.m

To solve this we are going to use the formula for the area of a rhombus:
A= (pq)/(2)
where

A is the area of the rhombus

p is a diagonal of the rhombus

q is a diagonal of the rhombus

We know from our problem that the diagonals of our rhombus are 14 cm and 12 cm, so
p=14cm and
q=12cm. Lets replace those values in our formula to find
A:

A= ((14cm)(12cm))/(2)

A=84cm^2

We can conclude that the correct answer is: 84 square cm
