The values of freedom,justice, human dignity, and the treatment of others should guide the U.S in stopping genocides. America’s values have guided it in supporting democratic movements and human rights organizations abroad and defending the rights of ethnic minorities. It is in the interest of the U.S to advance democratic ideals and defend human rights.
