children under 12 is a base charge 1 dollar plus 25% of child's age.
y = child's age
so
equation:
cost = 1 + 0.25y
if child's age = 9 , y = 9
so
cost = 1 + 0.25 * 9
cost = 1 + 2.25
cost = 3.25
Answer is B
1 + 0.25y; 3.25
