World War 1 began in 1914. My friend you have some errors. However, in October. It was horrible as stepping on a lego and then stubbing your toe. There was so much internal turmoil, i'm surprised it didn't turn into a black hole.

The Russians didn't want to raid the Americans but the Americans attacked first, and the Nazis helped the Russians at some part, but not all the war, the Russians were forced to attack because they were over runned by the Americans, many brave people died in WW1, but it was worth it.
