According to Woolf, why were there no "female Shakespeares" in Shakespeare's time?

According to Woolf, women, no matter what talent and the level of intelligence they have cannot achieve the goals that men can achieve. Woolf sites example where a woman wants to pursue theatre and writing like Shakespeare but fails to do so because in the years 1500-1600's women were not given proper education and were forced to marry.
