this is the bride Pont du Gard located in Vers-pont-du-Gard, France. it was built in the first century and it crosses the Garson river in southern France. The bridge is the highest of all Roman aqueduct bridges. It is believed to have taken about fifteen years to build, employing between 800 and 1,000 workers.
