When CPR is in progress and the AED pads have been attached to the victim and the connector has been plugged in, the rescuers should make sure that the AED is analyzing and make sure not to touch the patient.
Some AEDs after the pads are attached; pads should be plugged in before the AED starts to analyze, some of the pads are attached to the AED and then the the analyze button is pushed. At this point, one should not touch he patient.
