evaluate: log(-10)

A logarithm is defined only for x>0
So the answer is undefined

Logarithms are only defined for positive numbers i.e. numbers greater than 0. Log of negative numbers do not exist. If you try finding log of a negative number using a calculator it will give error or an undefined value.

So, log(-10) does not exist or is undefined.
