The distance an object travels is determined by how fast it goes and for how long it moves. If an object’s speed remains constant, the formula is d=r•t , where d is the distance, r is the speed, and t is the time. A satellite is orbiting the Earth at the rate of 25 kilometers per minute. In the question, we have been given the formula for finding the distance as well as its definition. This makes the question even more easier.

Distance ,d =r×t

r = 25km/min
t = 2 hours =(2×60) minutes
= 120 minutes

distance, d = 25×120
= 3,000 kilometers

Distance = Speed x Time

Speed of the satellite = r = 25 km per minute
Time = t = 2 hours = 120 minutes

Distance Covered = d = r x t = 25 x 120 = 3000 kilometers

So, the option A is the correct answer.
