The skeleton ensures a large portion of the fundamental organs. For instance the skull ensures the mind and the ribcage secures the lungs and the heart. Platelet creation - platelets are made inside bone marrow, which is found in bones of the skeleton.

The skull

The skull is located within our head, and surrounds our brain. It also supports structures within our faces (such as eyes, ears, etc) and is connected to the spinal cord.
