The water in the larger aquarium weighs 37.44 pounds more than the water in the smaller aquarium. Write an equation with a variable on both sides to represent the situation. Then find the weight of 1 cubic foot of water.

Explanation:

1. 1.3x+37.44=1.9x

2. 1.3x+37.44-1.3x=1.9x-1.3x

0.6x=37.44

3. x=37.44/0.6=62.4
