If an equation is an identity , then how many solutions does it have ?

Hello!

An Identity Equation can be represented using the following formula:

x = x

In other words, no matter what value you insert in place of X the equation will always be true. For example:

10 = 10
50= 50
1000000 = 1000000

Because the variable X has unlimited possibilities, an Identity Equation has infinitely many solutions.
