what is a recessive disorder?... A recessive disorder is basically a autosomal recessive disorder, you generally inherit two mutated Genes...A person who has this disorder inherits this from one each parent. These disorders are usually passed on by two carriers. The persons health is rarely affected, but they do have one mutated gene (recessive gene) and including one normal gene (dominant gene) for this condition.
