if the volume of a solute is 6.0mL and the solution is 300.0 mL, what is the solute's percent be volume? please show work.

Don't put this down yet because I'm not sure but I think it's 1800 because a solute and solution is mixed together so they would be multiplied?

6.0/300.0 = 0.02

The solute is 2% by volume.
