What lessons can citizens take from the internment of Japanese Americans during World War II? help please!

The internment of the Japanese Americans was unjust and very similar to what we now call generalizing, where we do not consider all the different aspect of a specific ethnicity but rather conjoin them into single category which at the time made them our enemies.
