Two number cubes are rolled.

What is the probability that the first lands on 2 and the second lands on a number greater than 4?

Well you need to find both probabilities first:

Landing on 2:

(1)/(6)

Landing on a number GREATER than 4:

(2)/(6)

Then multiply them together

(1)/(6) * (2)/(6) = (2)/(36) = (1)/(18)

So the probability of the two dice landing within those specific requirements is
(1)/(18)

Hope this helps!
