Find the total surface area of the capped cylinder.

2 times the area of the base would be 2[pi*(3 cm)^2, or 18pi.

The circumference of the base is C = 2pi*r, which here is 6pi.
The area of the sides is C times height, or 6pi*(11 cm) = 66pi cm^2

Add this to the 18pi cm^2 previously found.

Total area of cylinder, including top and bottom, is 84 cm^2.
