What is the main difference between generalized anxiety disorder and a phobic disorder?

I believe the answer is: Phobic disorder is linked to specific triggers while generalized anxiety disorder is not linked to a specific trigger.

For example, people who experience an extreme paranoia after seeing an insect could be categirized as a phobic disorder (entomophobia)
While people with generalised anxiety disorder tend to be depressed throughout the day no matter what happen around them.
