In order to make an equation into slope-intercept form, we need to solve for y.
So,
4x-2y=9
Add 2y to both sides
4x=9+2y
Subtract 9 from both sides
2y=4x-9
Divide both sides by 2
y=2x-9/2
So, your final answer is y=2x-9/2
