Using pythagoras length of the other leg = sqrt ( 8^2 - 4^2) = sqrt 48 = 4 sqrt3

the ratio of the sides of the triangle = 8 : 4 :4 sqrt3 = 2:1:sqrt3 so this is a
30-60-90 degree triangle
