Need help quick. (Odyssey)

Why won't anyone help Polyphemus?

1. He is not well-liked.
2. He screams "Nobody's killing me" so he is ignored.
3. No one can hear him.
4. He is in too much pain.

Answer:

2. He screams "Nobody's killing me" so he is ignored.

Step-by-step explanation:

Odysseus tells Polyphemus that his name is Nobody. So when he asks for help, he says that Nobody has hurt him, the other cyclops believe that he has been afflicted by some divine power or curse and all that they do is to recommend prayer as the answer to that affliction.
