How do painter Pieter Brueghel and author W.H. Auden treat the fall of Icarus differently in their works?

A. Auden refers to a ship, but Brueghel does not.

B. Brueghel includes animals in his scene, but Auden does not.

C. Brueghel relies only on visual imagery, but Auden refers to sounds as well.

The correct answer is C.

Brueghel relies on visual imagery, but Auden refers to sounds. He mentions the splash and the forsaken cry.

Both Brueghel and Auden include more animals than dogs (Auden also mentions a horse). Both include a ship. Therefore only answer C is fully correct.
