Need to know what z is on angle theorem-example-1

Adjacent angles on a straight line = 180:
x + x + 48 = 180
2x + 48 = 180
2x = 132
x = 66°

Sum of angles in a triangle = 180:
z = 180 - 66 - 90
z = 24°

Answer: z = 24°
