2 cupcakes each person. There are a total of 20 cupcakes, and there are 10 people. If you split all the cupcakes evenly (20 divided by 10 = 2), each person will get 2 cupcakes.

2, since 12+8 = 20 and there are 10 cupcakes, everyone can have 2
