Radius= 1/2 diameter= 1/2(10)= 10/2= 5

Circle Formula for Area= πr^2
C= πr^2

= (3)(5)^2
square 5; when squaring, multiply the number by itself one time

= 3(5*5)
= 3(25)
= 75 cm^2

ANSWER: The approximate area is 75cm^2 (using 3 for π).

Hope this helps! :)

You would multiply 10 times \pi (3.14)
you would multiply 10 times \pi and get 31.40 cm squared and get 31.40 cm squared
