The powerful storms that release enormous amounts of rain in South Asia are called monsoons. They appear every year, and they have both wet and dry period. From place to place the length of the monsoon and the amount of rain differ. It is recognizable for producing the biggest rainfalls on the planet, that also causes lots of flooding's and landslides, and lots of people every year lose their lives and homes.
