I believe the answer is: transference

In psychology, transference refers to an unconscious redirection of feelings of one person to another.
In the example above, the psychoanalyst would most likely believe that the agitation that directed toward him/her is not caused by the behavior per se, but because henry has that characteristic and the psychoanalyst is the only person that he could direct the anger to.
