The answer is Muscle. Blood flow is increased by vasodilation, or widening of the blood vessel. The Muscle tissue is responsible for vasodilation. It is the widening of blood vessels which resulted from the relaxation of the muscle cells within the vessel walls. When blood vessels dilate, the flow of blood is increased, this is due to a decrease in vascular resistance.
