A vascular plant has vascular tissue such as a xylem and a phloem. Vascular plants have the tendencies to be bigger than non-vascular plants. The xylem transports water and minerals from the roots up to the top of the plant. The phloem transports sugars and nutrients from the leaves down to the bottom of the plant.
