Therefore,

First term, a = 40

Common difference, d = 2

Find the number of seats in the 75th row.

Number of seats in the 75th row = a + (n-1)d

= a + (75-1)d

= a + 74d

= 40 + 74(2)

= 40 + 148

= 188 seats

Number of seats in the 75th row = 188 seats
