Does this moment compare to any other in the U.S. history?

it could be compared to the 1890 wilmington massacre where white supremacist stormed a government building in North Carolina. It started because people wanted the Democracy party to have the most control in Wilmington, at the time North Carolina was the name of white supremacy. A black owned newspaper office was burned down which led to the riots and caused many more black owned property and businesses to be destroyed. Which killed from about 60 to more than 300 people on November 10, 1898
