The radius of a carbon atom is 6.7 × 10^-11meters, while the radius of a sodium atom is 1.9 x 10^-10 meters. which of these statements is true based on this information?

A-the radius of a carbon atom is between two and three times the radius of a sodium atom

B-the radius of a sodium atom is between two and three times the radius of a carbon atom

C-the radius of a carbon atom is between three and four times the radius of a sodium atom

D-the radius of a sodium atom is between three and four times the radius of a carbon atom

please help me figure it out if you can T-T

Answer:

B

Explanation:

Rc =6.7×10^-11 and Rs=1.9×10^-10

since power of 10 is negative in both hence greater the magnitude of power lesser is its value

hence Rc is less than Rs

ratio of radius of atom of sodium to radius of carbon = (1.9×10^-10)÷(6.7×10^-11)

=2.84

hence B
