A = 1/2(bh)

in this case, b = 2a/h. plug in the values:

steps

b = 2a/h

b = 2(52)/13

b = 104/13

b = 8 meters

Answer:

Length of the base = 8

Explanation:

Area of a triangle = 1/2(h*b)

h = height

b = base

52 = 1/2 (13 * b)

Rearrange the equation to get b on it's own

52 * 2 = 13 * b

104 = 13 * b

104/13 = b

b = 8
