HELP asap

3. Often regular exercise causes the number of mitochondria in muscles to go up. How might the situation help someone do better at activities that use a lot of energy?

Mitochondria is basically where respiration mainly occurs so if they rise up in number, that means more aerobic respiration will occur which results in more energy release which helps the person do better in the activity since theyve now got more energy. But I could be wrong...
