How do you multiply whole numbers to decimals? pls help i have a test coming up​

Example: 11x3.4=37.4

Step-by-step explanation:so you have to align them in a vertical way, once you have done that pretend that the decimal point isn’t there. Once done with multiplying count the spaces to reach the decimal so for the example 11x 3.4=37.4

it’s one space so on 374 point the decimal one point after the 4, for bigger numbers you do the same.
