While doing a project on Galileo, I learned that Galileo saw Saturn through his telescope, and the rings around the planet made it look odd. That was because the telescope wasn't strong enough to make the rings out. So, Galileo couldn't see past Saturn. And Jupiter is in front of Saturn in the solar system so he had to of seen Jupiter.
