What is the description of Hamlet's behavior by Ophelia?

What is the dramatic value of having Hamlet tell us he may "put on an antic disposition" and doing so come close together?

Answer: The correct answer is : Ophelia describes Hamlet as a madman, she told Polonius that Hamlet was disheveled and as if he had gone through hell, that he acted violently passionate when he saw her. She was very scared.

He is acting like crazy and wild in front of her, but it is known that his outdated disposition seems to be a front only that the other characters in the play, do not know, they think that Hamlet has really gone crazy.
