Challenges faced by the United Nations after the civil war :

After the civil war the nations faced many challenges the coastal areas of US were located in the south and major income to the government came from the ports. After the war all the ports were destroyed and there was no source of income to the country.

They faced a huge economic crisis and many people lost their family and the plantations were destroyed to a huge extent. Civil war was caused due to slavery and after the war to minimize, the effect of black codes were passed. These codes contain the set of laws that denied most of the legal rights to the freed slaves.
