What factors led to the development of slavery in the coloines

Answer: southern, tropical or subtropical climate...easy access to slave labour (Carribean, American deep South and South America), manual work black slaves could easy do withou being paid, of course: cotton fields, coffee plantations. They were used much more in rural regions with big plantations.

Explanation: Slaves were usually brought to the Western hemisphere from the Western Africa in a very unhuman conditions, they were treated as and considered animals.
