Jake was a new kid in school. He was nervous about starting all over again, so he didn’t talk to a lot of people. Timmy thought that he was being rude, and decided he didn’t like Jake. One day, their teacher partnered them up for a project. Timmy was so mad! He couldn’t believe he had to work with Jake, the rude new kid. They worked together, and this helped Jake to become less nervous. He talked to Timmy every day. Timmy decided that Jake wasn’t so bad after all.
