Ashton is separating beads into bags for her art class. She has 28 green beads and 18 purple beads. She wants to put the same number of beads into each bag, and she doesn’t want to mix the colors of beads.

2 beads in each bag for a total of 23 bags.

Explanation:

list factors of 28: 1, 2, 4, 7, 14, 28

list factors of 18: 2, 3, 6, 9

The only one they have in common is 2 so it's 2 beads per bag.

28÷2=14

18÷2=9

14+9=23
