Now use Division Property of Equality

(Divide 3 from both sides)

We will use the decimal. Now that we know that x = 0.6 we will insert the value of x into the other equation

Given: 6x - 5

6(0.6) - 5

Now multiply

3.6 - 5

Lastly subtract
