x + y = -3.

Explanation:

x + y = 2

y = -x + 2

- the slope of this line is -1 . The line parallel to it will also have a slope of -1.

It also passes through (-7,4) so we have

y - 4 = -1(x - -7)

y - 4 = -1(x + 7)

y - 4 = -x - 7

x + y = -3 is the required equation.
