If x= 4 and z= 2 you would set up the equation as y= 2•4 (2 + 3)
2•4= 8 and 2+3= 5 so i think you would add them together and y=13

Answer:

y = 40

Explanation:

In the formula y = 2x( z + 3) replace x with 4 and replace z with 2:

y = 2(4)(2 + 3), or (performing the addition inside the parentheses first),

y = 2(4)(5) = 40
