My new music player has a capacity of 340 gigabytes how do I use in scientific notation

So you have the decimal and it’s after the zero. You move it over to the first number 2 spaces. So you should have 3.40 next you have to take off the zero because it is not necessary in this situation. Now you need the notation part. So you should have 3.4 x(times) 10^2 power. It’s to the second power because you moved the decimal place over twice. If you still don’t get it I can send you my notes Monday morning:)
