Cleisthenes lived from 570 BC-508 BC, and is known as the father of Athenian democracy. He was an ancient Greek lawmaker, and was credited to have been the one that redeveloped the constitution of Athens to establish a democratic government in 508 BC. Even though he's considered the father of democracy, democracy was already greatly known in Greek city-states.

Hope this helps, have a BLESSED and wonderful day! :-)
